Last Saturday, March 29th, Laurier Brantford hosted their first Alumni Hockey Game since 2020. After a five-year hiatus, it's safe to say the 2025 edition was a success. 

Hosted at the Brantford Civic Centre, the Alumni took down the Extramural team in a 5-2 victory. 

The Alumni came out strong in the opening frame, taking a 3-0 lead. But the Extramural team would not fold so easily.

Ethan Cabral got the boys on the board early in the second, with Lincoln Humphris scoring a few minutes after to make the score 3-2.

With just a one-goal lead for the Alumni, it was still anyone's game.

In the third period, Liam Hartman scored his second of the night on a fluky bounce to give his team a 4-2 lead, putting the game out of reach, before Hartman finished off his hat trick with an empty net goal.

Both teams gave it their all and set the stage for the years to come.
