Last Friday, Laurier Brantford's Varsity Indoor Soccer teams headed to George Brown for their first tournament of the year.

After months of preparation, both teams competed hard and gave it their all in a tough day of games.

The scores from the day were as follows:

Men's team:
2-0 L vs St. Clair
3-0 L vs Sheridan
3-0 L vs Conestoga

Women's team:
5-0 L vs St. Clair
1-1 T vs Sheridan
3-1 L vs Conestoga

Even with the lack of a victory from the day, both teams showed tremendous heart all day and showed potential of things to come. The men's team was in all three of their games despite the tough competition, and the women's team pulled out a well-deserved tie against Sheridan.

Both teams continue their seasons as they'll head to Sheridan College on February 12th for the second tournament of the year.
