Last Tuesday, February 25th, Laurier's Varsity Indoor Soccer teams took to the pitch in the OCAA Indoor Soccer Regional Championships.

The Women's team battled hard with two close losses to open their day, in games that could've gone either way, with Isabella Gargano-Lucanie and Alison Crowley standing tall in net. The Men's team battled through two losses to finish their day with a well-earned 1-1 draw vs Lakehead Orillia. Jackson Rice found the back of the net for the Golden Hawks in his final game wearing the purple and gold, ending his Laurier career on a high note.

Men:

VS Geroge Brown – 6-0 L

VS Lakehead Orillia – 1-1 T

Women:

VS Durham – 2-0 L

VS Lakehead Orillia – 1-0 L

VS St Clair – 8-0 L

While neither team managed to qualify for next week's Provincial Championships, both squads gave it their all this season and made Laurier proud every game.
