Hamilton, ON - Last Saturday, Laurier Brantford's Varsity Cross Country Teams continued their seasons by competing at the Mohawk College Cross Country Invitational.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, our Golden Hawks were aiming to being their long weekend on a high note.

On the women's side, Mya Baxter continued her strong season with a 26th place finish, earning a time of 28:57 on the 6K course.

On the men's side, it was Kirby Blackman leading the way once again with a time of 28:43, finishing in 21st on the 8K course. David Uzosike finished in 47th place with a time of 32:01, with Todd Pearson following in 54th place with a time of 34:14.

The Golden Hawks will aim to use the Thanksgiving break to rest and fuel up on gravy and mashed potatoes before they continue their season at their next race on October 25th.
