Last Friday, January 17th, Laurier Brantford's Men's Extramural Basketball Team took to the court in their second tournament of the 2024-25 season.

In their first event of the 2025 calendar year, the boys made the school proud, going 2-2 and taking home the W in the consolation final.

The scores of the day were as follows:

Game 1 (round robin) vs Sheridan – lost 46-33

Game 2 (round robin) vs Centennial – won 56-41

Game 3 (semifinals) vs UTM – lost 45-27

Game 4 (Consolation Final) vs Kings – won 57-56 in overtime

The highlight game of the day was no doubt the consolation final, where the Golden Hawks took home a thrilling one-point game in overtime.

The boys will host their next tournament here at the Laurier Brantford YMCA on March 7th.
