TORONTO, Ont. – Last Friday our Extramural Mixed Volleyball team kicked off their season with their first RECSeries tournament hosted by Humber College.

Our Extramural teams haven't competed in any tournament since March 2020 as a result of COVID-19 program restrictions so getting back onto the court was exciting and long overdue. None of our 2022/23 team has played in an Extramural event before so it was a new experience for all. Even though it was their first as a Golden Hawk, it definitely wasn't their first as individual athletes. Our team proved to be a very strong and in-sync group of skilled volleyball players, looking to make their mark on the court.

The Golden Hawks are gearing up for their next tournament which is going to be hosted on home court at the Laurier Brantford YMCA on Friday, November 25^th.
